“Let’s grab a bite to eat”
“Let’s grab ..” (literally ‘afferriamo’) is a colloquial English phrase we often use when we want to suggest we have something quickly.
When you are with others you can suggest a quick snack or drink, “Let’s grab a bite to eat.”
“Have you got time to grab a sandwich?”
“Let’s grab a coffee/tea/beer, etc”
We often use “grab” when we invite someone to take something, “Grab a chair I’ll be with you in a moment.”
See you next week, I’m just off to grab a coffee!
