Get the best from your camera! – 2

Do you have a digital camera hidden away somewhere? Here is your opportunity to learn how to use it – practising your English at the same time!
You will be amazed at the first picture you take after understanding your camera better!

The English Tree in collaboration with photographer Clelia Carbonari is offering the second part of the course which will enable students to use their digital camera with confidence and freedom. Covering a wide panoramic of topics such as portraiture, landscape and macro, street photography and architecture, the students will have the chance to create a personal portfolio of pictures taken during the course and exhibit them to show family and friends.

After the first part of the course, where students explored different types of photography, from portraiture to landscape and street photography, the photography classes will continue with a different approach. The participants and I will go outdoors in different locations to put into practice what they learnt during the first part of the course.

There will be 4 one and a half hour lessons as follows:

  • Borghetto di Ostia Antica (June 11)

We will photograph architecture and monuments and I will assign specific photographic exercises.

  • Cancelli (June 18)

Students will explore the place, taking pictures of the sea, the surroundings and portraits of each other. In this session we will only use available sunlight to understand how to cope with different situations.

  • Pineta di Castel Fusano (June 25)

The main themes will be: nature (macro and landscape), action and sport photography

  • Last lesson (July 2)

Review of the pictures taken and discussion with the students.

Students with previous basic photography knowledge are welcome to join us!

Locations can be discussed within the class, depending on the availability of the students.

Bring your digital camera and start taking pictures with us!
