An English Tree walking tour from the Aventine to the Capitoline hill

Join Elisabeth and bring Rome to life in a beautiful walk through the ancient part of the city, we will share interesting history and stories of pagan and Christian Rome.

Program:

Meet at 10am at Santa Maria in Cosmedin, view the well-preserved Temples of Portuno and Hercules, then continue on up to the Aventine hill.

See the Orange Garden with its marvellous view across the city, the Basilica Santa Sabina and the famous keyhole of the Knights of Malta.

Down to Circus Maximus passing through the beautifully -perfumed Rose Gardens (open only 5 weeks a year).

Walk along Via San Teodoro passing the Arch of Giano and Argentari then climb the Capitol hill and descend on the road of the Forum Imperiali.

Minimum number of participants required: 5
